My baby’s father smokes in his car. He smokes tobacco products and marijuana. Because of this he hasn’t had our baby in the car. He wants to get it detailed to remove the smoke but is that possible? I know you can get rid of the odor but isn’t it absorbed? I don’t want to risk any health issues with my child because he would want to visit his family 1.5 hours away and having my baby in the car that long would expose him.

As long as you take it to be deep cleaned it should be okay, just make sure after if you're concerned just wash the car seat and clothes. The baby should be okay

It will come out after the detailing Including smell. If it still smells after the detail spray a 50/50 water and white distilled vinegar on everything and it will get the stench out. Including walls in the house and stuff.
