My husband and I just experience our second miscarriage. First miscarriage late April second first week of September. We’ve gotten pregnant both time within a 3 month period. Some of my friends are telling me I should see a fertility specialist. My doctor says they recommend seeing someone after 3 miscarriages but we could go now. Any opinion on what they would do//success stories after two miscarriages.
Thank you so much!

Hi! I had a miscarriage in 2019 and then again this February/early March. I didn’t try in between because I ended yo getting divorced and now I’m remarried. My regular OB started doing blood work to check for blood clotting disorders after my second miscarriage. I didn’t see a fertility specialist as I was also getting pregnant within 3 months of trying.
I’m now almost 19 weeks pregnant with a little girl. I did have to take progesterone supplements until I was 12 weeks.
I’m SO sorry for your loss. It’s so hard

I’m so sorry you are going through this, we have been there ourselves we had 4 miscarriages over 15 months the most heartbreaking thing to go through, but we will be 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow, this is the furthest we have gotten in a pregnancy (never made it past 7 weeks before) this time I was out on progesterone supplements up until 16 weeks which have definitely helped us and I’d read into a lot of positive outcomes from people taking progesterone so I’d definitely look into those.
I didn’t get a chance to see a fertility specialist as with this pregnancy we fell pregnant straight away just as we were starting to consider seeing one so I’m sorry I haven’t got any advice or feedback on that side of things.
Again I’m so sorry you’ve been through this, my messages are always open if you want to chat or ask any questions ect I’m more than happy to help where I can. Take care of yourself and good luck for the future 🤍

hey can I get some more information on the progesterone?
