Doctor issues

Y’all. I couldn’t be more upset.

38 weeks today. Two whole weeks away from my due date. And I get a call from my OB office to notify me that the doctor I’ve seen through my entire pregnancy is no longer a doctor there. 😭

I now have to see a male doctor who I don’t care for at my next appointment and he will most likely be the one delivering my baby. I can’t help but be extremely upset and cry over how unfair this is. My original doctor was the only one in the office I felt actually cared and now I’m forced to switch to a different one.

Haven’t even gone into labor yet and already nothing is going right. 😫

I’m so sorry. I would be so angry too. Can you call and find out where they’ll be working at hence forth?

that has to be so disappointing. I had my baby on aug 30 and I had 4 different doctors who could have delivered, and of course it was the 1 male doctor who I did not like. funny thing is though, I dont even remember my labor at this point… I didnt even hear anything the doctor said, the whole time i was in my own world in a haze in “get this baby out” mode. who the doctor was mattered a lot less than I thought it would. plus, the nurses are way more involved than the doctor, he really only came when baby was about to come out. I hope this helps a little ❤️

I assume she was let go otherwise idk why they wouldn’t just let me know she moved to a different office. But either way it would be to far from where I’m located to switch hospitals.

Anyone use the owlet sock for newborn? Is it worth the price and what are some pros / cons?

So ready for second trimester 🥲

I really really hate the first trimester. It’s exhausting, no appetite, not enough hours to get the amount of sleep I need, headaches, smell sensitivity, and overall just feeling like crap! And I don’t want to announce anything until 14 weeks since I’ve had losses before, and it’s getting really hard to hide it from my friends. Two more weeks to go….

Just needed to vent to others who understand!

Anxiety

I’m 10 weeks and I have had so much anxiety probably for the last 2-3 weeks I already deal with anxiety but it was a tad bit easier shaking it off when I wasn’t pregnant.. I am on medication but doesn’t seem to be doing much tbh— I see a lot of yall say it’s a first trimester thing but this is my 3rd baby and I don’t remember being this anxious especially bc sometimes I’m just laying and heart rate reaches the the 120s am I the only one? Please help with suggestions. I don’t want to feel like this.. I know pregnancy is hard but fudge this makes it’s harder 😔😔😔

39 weeks pregnant FTM

39 weeks baby hasn’t come yet and I am just full of anxiety. I am trying to relax. I am trying to chill, but I can’t chill. I do not want to be induced. I would love to have her natural. Issue is I am tight down there and petite and baby is measuring big like the head especially. I know that measurements can be off. But I have photos! And she is a chunk. This is so unpredictable. How do I just put my faith forward and trust in God and how do I let go of this anxiety? I am doing fine and then boom it hits me and I want to ball my eyes out. I am trying to treat myself and do little things but driving or doing anything is so hard now and I’m so huge and uncomfortable …I’m at my breaking point 😭

SPPH (secondary postpartum haemorrhage) due to retained placenta -D&C?

Looking to see if anyone else has experienced this? Currently trying to pass retained tissue ( 4 weeks pp) and finding every day so exhausting just constantly waiting and checking my bleeding. I stopped bleeding on week 2.5/3 then bleeding picked up last Saturday and I haemorrhaged on Thursday morning with a rush to hospital. Everyday since I’m waking up scared I’ll be bleeding out. Worried to go toilet to check, I’m not convinced I’ll be passing it naturally and I’m worried I’ll need a D&C… has anyone had this? My retained tissue is 2cm so they said it’s small but I have no signs of passing it or blood changing colour to show slowing down.
