Baby yeast infection
So I’m pretty sure my boy has a yeast infection. It’s been about a week that he’s has what I figured was diaper rash on the top of his balls under his penis and then yesterday the tip of his penis was extremely red and irritated. Now this happened after hubby thought he didn’t need anymore rash cream because it didn’t look to bad. I called his doctor and cannot get an appointment until 12th 😭. I could go to ER but it’s a 6-10 hour wait right now for semi emergency cases. I can’t even imagine for a non emergent one. So after some heavy googling I found that most mothers are recommended to use an over the counter anti fungal cream. I’ve put it in and he’s not crying now when I’m his tummy.
Just wondering if anyone has had to deal with this?

No advice unfortunately but I believe my LO has yeast on and off (sometimes gets a white layer on his tongue and his breath smells like yogurt lol), and I often notice red spots on his balls. Both the white spots on the tongue and the red spots come and go, and my doctor is never worried enough to prescribe anything as he prefers not to medicate if not necessary. Just thought I’d share!
External antifungal cream was recomemded by my midwife
