Hey y’all. Any tip/tricks for having you little nap longer than 45 mins? He’s been only able to nap independently for that long and contact if we try for longer. I’ve tried shortening and lengthening his wake windows, feeding before naps, basically everything and nothing seems to work. Do they just grow out of it eventually and nap longer once their older?

That’s exactly where he’s at. Its an Olympic sport to get him back down and if I do
I’m lucky if he sleeps for 5-10 mins longer. Did you do any formal sleep training? If so, how did it work, what did you do, how Long did it take to stick? I still rock him to sleep then transfer to the bassinet. And I’m hesitant to start any sleep training because I’ll have so many questions.

My girl has to be swaddled with one arm out and on her side to get any amount of decent sleep.

same girl, just riding the motherhood wave. Hoping he figures it out

we do the same. He spends most of his wake windows playing. And I read one gal takes her kiddo out for an hour long walk in the morning and that’s helped her. The only problem is I live where it’s been triple digits so walking and pushing a stroller in that weather sounds miserable. But I may try it once the temps cool down.

We get longer naps when we put her in the SwaddleUp or the Sweetpea, or nap in her bassinet with motion, swaddle, and white noise.
