My little one is going through 7 bottles of 5 ounces in the course of 24 hours 😱

Is it the heat and dehydration? She's almost 4 weeks and a little over 3.5 kilos now. We can't overfeed babies right?

I was always told if it is too much feed they’ll Chuck it up! Xx

My 2.5 week old has wanted feeds all over the place and taken way more than normal. I just think the heat is totally u settling them xxx

My wee one is 5 weeks today, 10lbs 7 and is pretty much drinking the same over a 24-hour period. HV said to me to feed on demand and she will spit uf if its too much.

Yes you can overfeed babies, but not sure how it works in this weather as they will be hungrier/ thirstier due to the heat.
Best way to work out feeds is...
150 x babies weight = minimum amount of ML of milk per day.
200 x babies weight = maximum amount of ML of milk per day.
Obviously then divide the total by the number of feeds and that should give you the amount for each feed..... Hope I'm making sense ha ha x

My health visitor said you can’t overfeed a newborn, she said they will be sick if they have drank too much x

You can over feed with formula but not with breast milk x
