Air quality

I live in the Midwest and this air quality is horrible. Why are people not taking it seriously? Am I overreacting by not wanting my baby to be outside for an extended period? So many activities are happening outside with kids involved..seems irresponsible

Nope. We had the wildfires earlier this summer and ran our air purifiers constantly on full blast and I kept an eye on the AQI before I thought about going outside. You're definitely not overreacting!
