Co reading

Hey, so I had my midwife app today, and my co reading read 9 then they asked me to wash my hands and do it again which it then was 7 - I do not smoke and am not around anyone who smokes but they then have said I’ll need a scan each week now before giving birth (I’m 34 weeks) but didn’t go into much detail, has anyone else experienced this??

Higher CO readings if you’re not a smoker can mean leaky boilers or a lactose intolerance!

Can also be fumes going into your vehicle. Boiler issues. Pollution and a number of issues, I would get a carbon monoxide alarm at home
If you don’t have one xx

I never knew this for lactose intolerance I'd be interested to know mine xx

do you not have a reading taken at every appointment?

I had mine taken yesterday and it read 11. Normally it's 1. My midwife said every reading she had taken yesterday was high. I wondered if it was linked to the Sahara dust that blew in yesterday. Just going to see what the next reading says, don't trust that one!

No never had mine done at all xx

I thought that at the time tbh but didn’t want to mention it incase I sounded silly! I’ve had mine at every single appointment and I’m not a smoker so I wonder why you don’t have yours!
