Is anyone worried what will happen considering covid is back. I really hope there’s no restrictions in the hospital

Aslong as partner is allowed in im really not bothered. I enjoyed our little cocoon my last birth xx

yeh same I’m hoping partners will be allowed

It’s hard really hope we dont get another lockdown least not this side of Christmas. Due in 4 weeks. My dad did pick up covid this week sadly. On the ferry to france. Last week.

Also if I had to do birth alone I be asking for a c-section. Because not sure I could cope on my own in the hospital

I really don't understand why they didn't let them in last time or why if will happen again.
They live with you ffs! (Or at least in most cases. I sincerely doubt there will be another lockdown.

Covid isn't back

If restrictions do come back in place. My little girl was born in Aug 2020 dad had to wait in the car park and as soon as I was about to have her they call them in to support u through the birth he stayed 1hr after birth and then had to leave untill we was discharged. So don't think ul be completely alone during birth. Hopefully this isn't the case as this baby is my last and I'm due in just over 3weeks. Good luck mommas.

I don’t think they will ever put hospital restrictions back in, it can’t possibly happen again!
If your due in October you will be definitely fine I’m sure ❤️
If they implement restrictions again, it would have to be a huge outbreak to require restrictions again x

naa not with all the heartbreaking stories about people not getting to say their goodbyes meanwhile the elite are drinking wine and eating cheese having a good old chin wag 😅 😡

No covid is long gone in my mind lol. I don't think we will ever have to worry about those extreme restrictions again x

I work in a hospital, 2 weeks ago we had a covid outbreak on my ward and they never stopped visitors or implemented any restrictions other than obviously making people aware that there was covid on the ward and recommending masks. The NHS have a “living with Covid” plan, I think it’s highly unlikely we will see restrictions like we did during the height of the pandemic. And with everything coming out about the way our so called government carried on during the pandemic I imagine there would be uproar if they even tried.
