Having another baby after a csection

What is the age gap between them? Our little one is 5 months old now and we would love another one as we want them close together and I am approaching my mid 30’s. Will be seeking medical advice but wanting real life experiences ideally

I was pregnant 9 months after a c section and had no complications

There’s 18 months between mine. I had an emergency c section first then elective for second. Had no problems at all with my second and found the recovery much easier even with a toddler to run around after x

sorry to jump on this, but was it straight forward to ask for an elective c section for the second or did they try to push VBAC ?

no problem at all! I literally nearly died first time round with preeclampsia leading to organ failure but they STILL asked me every time I went to a consultant appointment if I was going for VBAC. No way was I going to as it could have happened again. I said I wanted elective from the get go and stood my ground. At the end of the day it’s your choice completely x

I had a second C-section 18 months after my first, no complications but told it wasn’t recomended…. I do in hindsight see why, my body was exhausted (also from a toddler no doubt) but no problems at all. I found the recovery easier second time as you know what to expect!
