Tips on dealing with Covid in a 4 year old?

My 4 year old is covid positive. Temperature is one thing, but every time she gets sick it’s hard to get her to drink lots of water which is most important. Any mom’s out there that had those problems? How did you deal with it? And how bad was covid compared to a regular flu?
