Upset baby/impatient partner

I've been sterilising bottles, waiting for them to cool, etc, meanwhile, the babies dad/my partner has the baby upstairs ready for bed, trying to settle him to sleep. I'm completely oblivious to what's going on upstairs, but when I do go up after about 20 minutes, I'm greeted with a bad attitude and a mouthful off my partner because he's had to deal with a 7 week old screaming baby and apparently I'm the disgrace for not coming up sooner even though I didn't hear him from downstairs.
Bare in mind I'm on mat leave, he goes to work several days a week so it's me that has the baby most of the time and copes with the screaming/crying as and when, yet I'm the bad person for having 20 minutes alone downstairs whilst I wait for the bottles to cool.
It just feels like I'm only entitled to me time when it suits him but he gets it whenever he wants.

I would remind him that the child has 2 parents not one. He should be wanting to comfort his child.
