I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma. I currently work as a caregiver and am constantly carrying over 50lbs . Should I be looking for a different job?

No but you should tell them you need to be on mod duty and get a doctors note to back you up. It’s possible. Are you in a facility or in home?

@Jessica I'm at a home

i second what jessica said ^ definitely get a doctor’s note and request light duty. it could heal quickly or last your whole pregnancy so just be careful!

Are you private or through some sort of registry or agency? If registry or agency, tell your supervisor that you need light duty so they can give you more able patients, if you’re private I’d recommend finding another job unfortunately
