No girl you’re not! I’ve visited triage twice due to reduced movements/change of pattern (which you’re literally told to do if you have any worries!!!) and both times I was made to feel stupid. He had been quiet all day (both times) but of course he wakens up when put on the monitor (because it’s noisy for them!) and then the midwives look at you like you’re lying 😅

Made me not want to contact triage again which meant I spent a lot of my pregnancy worried!

It’s honestly a joke my vision was blurred and I took my blood pressure which was up at 200 odds and my feet where swollen which is all signs or pre-eclampsia and she was like wit do u mean you took your own blood pressure n a was like well a have a machine obviously know it’s not set on that because I done it but it’s still never said abnormal before and she was like well it’s normal then said and visions problems are to do with optitions not us even tho it’s something midwife’s always ask and a said well what about my swollen feet and she went well look at the heat think everyone’s a bit swollen she then asked if baby had moved and he had but a know if a said naw she would tell me to come down so a went no and she went well go to bed for two hours and see if he moves a acc just started shouting at her n a was like am coming down so got in the car and by the time a got to the hospital I couldn’t see type speak or feel my right side

That is awful! I had a similar experience with blood pressure where they were more concerned as to why I was taking it myself than it being high. I was just like why the hell does that matter. She spent a good 10 mins asking my why I had taken it and if I had been told to take it abs if not why was I doing it. Such a strange response! Really hope you have been seen to and are okay? There are all signs of something serious and she needs to be held accountable!

is it wishaw general by any chance? They’re the absolute worst. I was up there a few weeks ago with an infection and they put me in a bed in triage that had pee stains and hair all over it. When my bf said to the nurse about it she said “tell her to move to one of the clean beds then” 😫x

yeah it was funnily enough there honestly a joke x

yup definitely same. i called at 31 weeks with period pains and slightly reduced movements and she just made me feel like i was silly being concerned about the period pains but my sister had specifically told me to call about them as a midwife herself. she ended up saying she was only sending me in for the movements.
anyway everyone actually in triage was lovely put me on the CTG and i was having contractions they did an early labour swab and i was all fine but really annoyed me how dismissive they were on the phone.
another time my midwife had told me to call if i had anymore seeing stars so i did and the midwife on the phone asked if i was still seeing them (i was seeing them for short episodes) and i said no and she basically said theres nothing they can do if im not currently experiencing the vision disturbances :/
