Single moms

Um I have no idea how mothers literally do this on their own. I commend all of you!! Even the mamas with partners that barely help. Ya’ll are amazing.

I have my mother and my husband helping me and I’m still really tired. I had complications so my postpartum journey has been difficult. I feel very blessed to have all this help. I can’t imagine what I’d do without them 🤍

Seriously, you ladies are superheroes. You deserve more credit for taking care of these newborns on your own.

I was just thinking this and told my partner I have no clue how single moms do it! We have both our moms helping us but we are still EXHAUSTED! Single moms are actual superheroes!!

It’s tough. My partner works everyday 12 hours. His mom will be taking him for a few hours in the next week for the first time. My mom can’t help due to a mental disability. I just realized I’m doing this all alone really. I ask my partner to take the baby when he gets home and that doesn’t last more than an hour or two because we eat dinner and he goes to sleep to wake up at 4am. It’s tough!

that’s so tough mama but you got this! 🤍 My husband was doing 12s and once the baby came he has been using vacation time/ unpaid leave. So temporarily he’s only scheduled for twice a week. Idk what I would do if he was working his regular schedule. Hopefully your partner’s mother will be able to continue to help out!

it’s definitely a struggle, especially breastfeeding. i’m exhausted, but i love my son SO much! my mom comes to help as much as she can just so i can sleep, but having someone living with you would be so much help. 😩
