Newborn cry

My baby js 1 week today, he gets changed I feed him but then he crimples up and cries for more food after 20/30mins I never take him away from breast feeding until I’m 100% certain he’s full or doesn’t want it! He goes back to eating for 5/10 mins and then we’re back in a cycle should I be concerned? It’s been happening for an hour or two now

Sounds like he’s cluster feeding. Completely normal, helps your body to adjust to his milk needs, bloody hard work though. Have lots of snacks and water & put your favourite tv show on x

ah thank you! I was concerned he wasn’t feeling well!

As long as he’s got lots of wet nappies I don’t think you’ve got any reason to worry ❤️

Wen he’s crumpling up he has gas or colics . I went thru it with my baby . It started like that cuz I was breast feeding my baby and she was getting lots of air and so much milk , so she was also get reflux . She would non stop cry . And I would stay up and extra two hours at night , she was sooo fussy . Sometimes she would cluster feed cuz of the pain she was in . I was constant just trying burping her , trying to find ways to ease her pain . And my doctor kept saying it was normal and this and that . NO ! I knew something was wrong with her . I just one night gave up the breastfeeding .. I couldn’t handle another all nighter my first week of having her was hell ☹️🥺 … so switched to formula .. one for fussy and crying … and switched to Dr Brown anti colic bottles . And instantly saw a difference with one feeding . So now I just pump and give her breast milk in a bottle in the day as it’s thinner and formula thru the night is a lil thicker so she stays full and sleeps a bit longer
