Is anyone else’s baby grunting after every feed ? I do burp baby but he still grunts.

Hey, my baby (4 weeks old) was doing this to the point I took her to A&E at 19 days old. I then had her at the doctors a week later as it didn’t improve and she’s been prescribed alternative milk x

I have a 2.5 week old who also grunts a lot after feeds (and just generally..).

I have a 4 weeks old who grunts a lot most of the time.

What did they say to that? Are for breastfeeding or formula ?

At the hospital they queried laryngomacia which basically means that their airways are ‘floppy’ and still developing. However my LO had other symptoms such as pulling her legs up in pain, a rash in her eyebrows, colic and reflux and sucking on her dummy more aggressively even though she’d just been fed (they do this when they’re trying to combat heartburn). The GP told me to trial her for two weeks on a hydrolysed milk - this is basically milk that still has CMP in it but the proteins are broken down more so it’s not as hard on the LO’s body to digest x

I’m formula feeding, however a friend of mine is breastfeeding and her LG was also prescribed formula milk to help as my friend had to cut a lot out of their diet to reduce the symptoms x
