Lifting a heavy box 31+6

I accidentally carried a heavy box at my work today. It was at the top of a pile and I pulled it down not thinking it would be heavy but it was heavier than expected but I’d committed to holding it so carried it back to my desk which wasn’t too far but probably still shouldn’t have done it! My colleagues shouted at me and said I should have asked but I didn’t think I just did it! I’m worried will it hurt the baby at all. I feel fine I didn’t pull anything.. just more embarrassed that I should have just asked instead of doing it myself! If you google it there’s all sorts about premature labour and low birth weight etc 😬🥲

I carry my work things from the car to peoples houses every single day (im a hairdresser), it's very heavy but I don't have a choice, I've been ok so far

I think as long as your not in physical pain then you should be okay

I’m still going to the gym and deadlifting about 45kg no problem. As long as you picked it up and put it down properly, you weren’t in any pain or discomfort, I wouldn’t worry about it. But maybe next time, ask for help! Pregnancy is a great opportunity to get people to do the heavy lifting or bending down for you! 😂 Oh and don’t listen to Dr Google, you’ll freak yourself out!

I'm also still going to the gym and leg pressing 70kg as my heaviest weight, just as long as you did it safely and have no pain, you should be fine

As long as you didn’t have any pain, it’s fine. I’m lugging about my almost 16kg toddler every day 😂 wouldn’t have dreamed of it in his pregnancy

Heavy lifting isn’t to do with hurting the baby, it’s to do with pulling muscles because everything is so lax in pregnancy. If you’re feeling ok, you’ll be fine.
