We have a 3 year old and a 10 month old but it took us like 5-6 months to get pregnant with number two so we started trying sooner this time. I got my period in the middle of august and I ovulated afterwards but since I haven’t had a period for like 1.5 years idk when it’s supposed to come. I had to be on period starter and ovulation stuff in order to get pregnant with baby number two. Idk how long I should wait before calling the doctor. According to my records my period 2 years ago were 40-45 days apart 🙄 it’s been 31 days. No test has come back positive yet so idk what to do

Well if you know you ovulated in August then you should get your period 10-16 days after this. Luteal phase generally range from 10-16 days and do not go over 16 days. So if your period does not arrive then you can safely assume that you did not ovulate when you thought you did.
I don’t know what the guidance is in USA, but in the UK a doctor won’t do any testing until it’s been a year of trying. I assume as you pay for healthcare you can go to the doctor before this though?
Also, 5-6 months of trying isn’t very long, it takes the average couple anything up to a year to conceive but appreciate you don’t want it to take this long

IMO it’s not too early to call doctor. I’d rather be proactive about it. I have irregular cycles as well.

Look up maca root it helps you ovulate but is natural
