Labor Fear

I was pretty stationary throughout my entire pregnancy as I struggled a lot with physical symptoms and HG. As baby time is getting closer and closer, I’m getting scared. People have been telling me my labor is going to be awful because I wasn’t active and I’m terrified…

I wasn’t active at all during my pregnancy because I was always so down and always felt so sick.. my day consisted of laying in my bed most of the time on my phone watching Netflix. I rarely went anywhere unless I had to and I sure as hell didn’t workout or anything of that nature. please do not listen to the people who tell you that your labor and delivery will be terrible just because of that because it just simply is not true at all. I gave birth September 1st and it wasn’t terrible. literally the only problem that occurred is my epidural didn’t work at first because they didn’t have it in the right spot. but everything else went perfect fine and I’m doing good now… idk why people are getting that in your head. you got this mama!!!!! don’t listen to the negative noise.

I sure as hell didn’t exercise either. I gave birth last Thursday 8/31 and was induced. My only complication was the epidural had to get it done 2 times because the first one wasn’t put in the right spot. And now a week later I’ve lost basically the 20lbs that i gained. Literally don’t let people get in your head. When you give birth go in there with a clear mindset, you got this!

I was hardly active at all because I was sick the whole time. I mean I literally hardly left the house at all. I don't think it made labor any harder, but people told me it would. So don't let that scare you.

I'm glad I'm not the only one in this boat. Thanks for all the reassurance! ❤️
