Every kid is different! Mine behaves pretty well as long as I pack lots of different things for her to do and play with and we make her laugh by manipulating things on the table. But she’s been an easy kid since birth. Didn’t even crawl until 12 months because she was unmotivated. Just try your best to make the outing as fun as you can. Distract distract distract!!!

it’s not “showing out”, tbh it’s just not a good stage in their development right now to ask them to sit still and quietly wait for people to bring food out and wait for you to eat. You’re going to have to bring lots of toys and snacks for him to be more patient with the process. Perhaps take him outside to run around and burn some energy off while you wait for the food to come out.

Pretty normal, try to let him move around in a safe way before the meal has arrived. I'll walk around the restaurant or outside with my little one when she gets too restless for the table.
