Heat rash ??

Have you had a second opinion? HV??

I thought they would probably just suggest the gp so thought I would cut out the middle man but will give them a ring on Monday x

yes pretty much except his face

Is he poorly at all? Cough anything ? Or just the rash ?

slightest slightest cough the past couple of days but nothing to worry about I wouldn’t say x

Like literally will cough two or three times the whole day and night x

It might be a reaction to something like washing powder triggered by the heat.

Is it in his nappy area? (Where clothes/bedding isn't in contact?)

not to scare you or anything my girl had Scarlett’s fever/ strep or whatever it was going around the beginning of the year and started off with a rash and a slight cough and progressively got worse. I’d ask them to test for it, it also could be hand foot and mouth.

deffo get it checked out by someone else, whether that be another GP or HV just to be sure. Hoping it goes for him soon. Are you putting him in a cool bath?

if your happy with how baby is then wait if not take him x

If he's drinking ok, wet nappies and generally OK in himself then I'd agree it's heat rash... especially with the weather the last week.

Cool baths and no smellies just to be on the safe side.. not to irritate his skin.

yes I have today and yesterday as my living room is 28.2 degrees on the thermostat 😳 regularly wiping him down with a water and cotton wool as well x

if you have any muslins put them in the fridge and alternate. My boy is loving it and it’s keeping him cool. I’m going to try and put it in his cot tonight
