Air con units - uk

It's too late to be of any use this year, but I am 100% buying one for next year, I cannot take this heat anymore!! Reccommendation on any units you have? X

We have a costway one, which is a condenser, so no tube required. It's OK, not amazing but i can have it anywhere in the house. My friend has one with the tube, she paid £450 for it and it's good i just can't remember the make of it x
