Baby refusing Calpol

Putting it in a bottle teat? Mix with a bit of milk? Mix with a bit of yoghurt? Squirt it right in the back of the mouth and hold her mouth shut? Squirt in her mouth then blow in her face? Put it in their mouth and quickly put in a bottle/dummy before they spit it out? A few things I have heard work 🙂

No advice really my baby is the same only way we do it is spoon feed very small amounts at a time so she can’t spit it out

We have the frida baby medicine soother and bought a pack of syringes in Amazon, but the teat hack probably does the same thing for cheap x

Thanks all, I’ve tried the teat and she looks at me like I’m stupid but using her spoon has worked and got a decent amount into her. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that before 🙄

My little boy isn’t a big fan and I sometimes mix it with his milk. I would rather give him some diluted than none x

My little one would not take any medication after her vaccines and her fever was sky high so we had to do suppositories and they were so easy, I’ll be using again if she ever gets ill. Also they work within 10 mins

My little girl is exactly the same and also has COVID at the moment - I use the syringe it comes with and squirt tiny bits into her cheek and then blow on her face so she has to swallow it which really reduces the amount she spits up. She still cries and hates it! Hope your little one feels better soon, its horrible when they're ill

i know it sounds horrible, but if my girl really won't take it i put it in her mouth and hold her nose for a few seconds so she has to swallow it 😭

We had this problem with my LO. We tried infant nurofen as this is orange flavour and she is much better with it xx
