I am, but this heat has made me have a big aversion to breast feeding. I also think our time is ending as I want more of my body and time back.. he feeds like a newborn unless he’s overly distracted x

no tips just solidarity re. nighttime we are the exact same with feeding every 2-3 hours x

we are the same if we have another one. We knew it would be demanding but not around the clock at 21 months in demanding!! lol
I started bringing in gradually different sleep associations.. patting bum and music playing. He fell asleep twice without feeding to sleep.. then got tonsilitis.. recovered then we tried again when he got better.. he screams the house down now because he knows I’m trying to change things LOL

If I try to pat his bum now he moves my hand and cries haha it’s not funny but if I don’t laugh I’ll cry from exhaustion LOL
feeding every 2-3hours here too. I was starting to think this wasn’t normal
good idea on the combi feed! I’d like to BF for 6 months only. I will not express to up my supply etc like I did this time. Tbh, this long drawn out experience as really put me off doing it ever again but it’s beneficial…
Do you ladies take calcium pills?
I wish my stomach would handle dairy 😭 lol
I know, it’s a love hate lol

I don’t take calcium pills.. tbh I probably should be taking extra stuff..
I used to think there was something wrong with my son for feeding all through the night but the more I’ve spoken about it the very odd time I hear another mum relate. It’s nice to know we are not alone, I don’t think this is talked much about if I’m honest... I will be trying to change his sleep associations again soon to see if it makes any difference. I just really hate his crying and I normally give in so I have to do it when I’m a bit stronger willed 😵💫
I’m also scared that stopping the boob will make no changes to nighttime sleep.. that would be the worst x
yeah, or maybe a pint of milk like Nathalie! Only asking because I got a blood test done at the GP for exhaustion and they said my calcium was low
Yeah, I’m glad there’s others on the same boat. I can’t handle the crying either, having my daughter quickly soothe on boob is great but I’d like a good sleep lol

Nearly 16 months still going strong. All I can say is it gets lesser and lesser and much easier. Keep going x
I’m 21 months strong and it’s not getting lesser and lesser 🤣🤣🤣🥲🥲🥲
I’ve just realised most of you don’t have LOs at 21 months 🥲🥲🥲 I am really alone in this 🥲🥲🥲

Mines 21 months on the 17th

Still breastfeeding here too but just in the evening/overnight.

Still BF at 20 months but only first thing in the morning and last thing before bed, occasionally a night feed too
how do you get them to nap? Do you give them lots of snacks?

He is in nursery so got weaned of day time breastfeeding because of that and got used to the routine of napping without much help. He feeds in the evening as part of his routine to relax but he doesn’t fall asleep in the breast - when I see he is relaxed and tired, I put him in cot and stay with him until he falls asleep. He still wakes up most nights at least once to feed though!

Still BFing at 20 months here too! I’ve managed to night wean her and she mostly sleeps better overnight but we are still cosleeping. But she’s an absolute boob monster during the day when I’m with her, feeding more at the moment than she was 6 months ago! My nipples are getting sore from all the contortions and side switching, lots of nip lash here 🤣

Still breastfeeding at 21 months. We also nurse to sleep :)
