Has anybody else had a pain right at the top of their bump under their boobs in the centre?
I’ve had this now for a week and I can only describe it as it feeling like my abs/muscles are being pulled down or separating from the weight of my bump but I have absolutely no idea if that is the case or not.
It hurts most when I lay down, I have to wedge a pillow or push my fingers into it to apply some pressure to even get the slightest bit of relief but it’s never really gone away.

Yes, I’ve had this since about 22 weeks. Sleeping has been a nightmare as it gets really intense the longer I’m on my side so I end up changing sides a lot all through the night! I have noticed in the last week or so that it’s getting a bit better, I think my bump has shifted down ever so slightly so it’s maybe helped

Oh my gosh !! Me too 😭😭 I’ve been looking for someone going through the same thing and no one seems to understand what I’m saying. I called triage and they said it’s muscles being pulled and I shouldn’t worry but it’s soo painful. The midwife also didn’t seem too sure what I was talking about

I had this too, it did get a little better after seeing an osteopath, who recommended stretching and moving more during the day (I wfh and sit at a desk) x

Do you know what position baby is in? That may be exacerbating the pain too. I keep getting pain right at the top of my belly to the right near my ribs. Which tends to get worse when I do too much or walk around alot. I've realised it's because baby boy has always got either his legs or his butt sticking right up in the same spot making it sore 😅 when it gets too much I either lay down or I try and get him to shuffle around abit. I had a bottle of iced water the other day as it's been so hot and I placed it on the area that was sore and noticed it helped and it also made him move away from the cold so it took some pressure off 😂 they sure do like to make us uncomfortable. I hope your pain eases soon. Keep your midwife updated and if it worsens maybe get it checked out. 💕 How many weeks are you? X

Yep been dealing with this pain for a while. Its your ribs expanding to make room for your uterus which is now right up there. I have to change position all the time otherwise my entire diaphragm goes numb. Driving is the worst. I have no solutions, it is horrible but harmless x

I've been getting a pain in my ribs at the top left. It feels like a stitch but has been more sore at different times at the day. Also driving has been painful too with it. I called the midwife and she said it is where the wee one is and he is kinda kicking my ribs and just generally hanging out there. So it's being aggravated by the wee one 😊
She said it will continue until he is born.

Could be Braxton hicks

Thank you ladies! All super helpful and reassuring 🤍
