Does anyone do the calorie deficit diet?
I’m 10 days postpartum and planning on starting this tomorrow.
Can anyone recommend any apps that I may find useful? Or have any tips?
I’m going to take it easy for the first few weeks

Girl eat your food and rest a bit lol im giving myself 3 months to relax eat what I want then workout appropriately 😊😊 calories don't define your body btw working out does even if u pig out xx

I think 10 days is too early, you need to heal and rest up first. Give it a couple of months
I have done it before and i used fitness pal it was brilliant and i also got friends to join and that motivated me then u can see what they have ate and what exercise they have done. Its really good

I am currently doing this and am 14 weeks pp. I use nutracheck to log my food which I find really easy to use x

Sorry but I think it’s way too early to do this. Definitely seek professional advice from a nutritionist or something.
You are still healing and won’t have had any post birth checks (8 weeks ish in the UK).
Not sure if you are breastfeeding that actually burns something like 600 calories per day so you could consider that your deficit.
But definitely give yourself a break and enjoy your new baby x
Thanks everyone really appreciate comments
I feel so gross and over weight that I’m struggling to enjoy the newborn phase as I don’t want to go out and be seen like this so I wanted a way of eating healthy and losing weight at the same time… I am seeing a doctor on Thursday about something else so I will ask them what they suggest in the meantime… I’m exclusively expressing milk xx

If you're expressing exclusively you need to be very careful about lowering your calories!
You can however still eat healthy without being in a calorie deficit x
