I feel like people talk about postpartum depression so much they don’t talk about just feeling angry. Angry at the changes to your body. Angry at the lack of sleep. Angry at your partner. And I hate when people talk about relationship stuff on here because my thought is if you have a problem with your partner go talk to your partner. But ever since I had my baby in late July I’ve felt so much rage instead of sadness. I was mad that my stitches kept me from being able to feel normal. I was mad I couldn’t stop my baby from crying. And I’m mad now that my husband’s bed back to work and not supporting me or spending time with our baby. To the point where all the things that annoyed me before just make me want to punch him in the throat. Sometimes I wonder if I could just do this by myself instead of dealing with a grown man who means well but isn’t as strong as me. It’s all pisses me off! Does anyone else feel this way?

I had this with my first. It got so bad that there were times me and hubby would argue and I was throwing plates breaking them etc. my anger was never at the baby but my husband my god I could’ve bashed his head into the wall half the time. had my second baby and it’s not as bad as I am on a medication that helps with bipolar but the other day I did fly off the handle easier and quicker. I will say it goes away but it does take a while. Just try to take a breather and not black out. Also, don’t punch your husband. But you aren’t alone ❤️

I felt like I was doing all of work and my husband was able to just take it easy and I was so upset about it nothing crazy just hormonal and upset. I almost wonder if maybe it could be a form of PPD maybe talk to your gyno or PCP and see what they have to say it never hurts to ask and reach out
thank you! I think it’s trying to manage all of the major life changes that make it difficult. I’m glad I’m not the only one.
I’m also trying to figure out ways my husband can do more even though I’m breastfeeding. Did you find a way to get more help from him?

Him and I sat down and had a completely honest, open, and transparent conversation about how I felt, what I needed from him and started the conversation with explaining how hard it was for me to have this conversation and that I really needed him to just listen to me and what I was saying and what I needed to change. It took a couple of those hard brutally honest conversations but he's helping out more. There was a point where I told him I felt like I mind as well be a single mom and I know he's trying but I feel like the effort is being put into the wrong areas and we needed to figure out a new plan of action but we are doing better now and it takes lots of patience and trial and error but you will get there. It's hard but if it were easy everyone can do it. I don't know you but I know you're strong and brave and you deserve the very best. I hope for all of the best for you and your family and if there's anything else you need please feel free to reach out 🖤
this is so incredibly kind of you to be so candid. You have no idea how much it helps me (and others) to read about an experience that is so relatable!!! Wish us luck on our trial and error to figure this whole thing out 🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
