I’ll go on leave two weeks before the due date!

Leaving a month before due date but using two weeks of vacation time first so I don’t cut into the maternity leave.

I’m hoping to go on leave 4 weeks prior and get the disability insurance I’ve been paying into to cover some of the costs since it is unpaid.

I’m in sales and Dec is last month of the year/quarter so it’s very hard to leave early for me. My first baby I went over 40 weeks (common) so if I do leave before due date it would probably be just a few days before. Plus, I want my full maternity leave with my baby.

I’m waiting until due date to take leave, if it’s possible. I realize that may be optimistic, but December’s a pretty critical time for my job (church music). I also want to save the leave time for when baby is here.

I’m waiting until my due date - I only get 6 weeks of maternity leave and I’d rather spend that time with baby as opposed to staring at the walls. Also, I’d have to get my doc to write a note for my job to let me leave any sooner 😂

Haha I don’t get maternity leave so I’ll be working until I go into labor. 🤦‍♀️

I'm my own boss, so I have not authorized maternity leave 😋

Since mine is unpaid, I'll have to use my personal & vacation time. I will be going on leave possibly 1 mth or 2-3 weeks before. We'll see

2 weeks prior.

I’ve been reading The Fourth Trimester and it recommends taking off a bit before birth for multiple physical reasons.

Up to my due date, unfortunately. I'm starting a new job next week because my husband wants me to work till baby comes.

Until I pop! I work from home so I should be good to work and feel prepared up until baby makes his appearance

It's really I think up too how hot feel and how is your health. I plan to take it 2 weeks before I'm due but hoping all is well until then.

Avatar

Does anyone have any advice on how I can find work from home asap?

Lol did you ladies know candy gives 52 weeks of leave? No other reason I’m telling you than it blew my mind and we’re rationing 4-12 weeks depending on the state 😒🤣
