My LB has always loved Halloween so we usually go out and do it but I wouldn’t force it upon him. No one has reacted negatively towards us.
He absolutely loves it but is very picky on costumes. People in the neighborhood are amazing with all the kids. I’ve never experienced a negative person.
Halloween is always fun as long as its a costume he picked that hes comfortable with hes very picky about the costume as far as negative comments never really had any at least not on Halloween or while trick or treating
My asd 14 year old likes to go trick treating with his sister. He doesn’t dress up. I usually play games like apple and donut bobbing. The pumpkin he likes but getting him to actually sit down and do it is painful.
