Sweating?

So last week the weather was crazy but last night temperature’s dropped with the rain, which was great. But around 8.30pm I stated sweating so badly, I didn’t even feel warm before it and I never sweated like that the whole week of high temperatures, then at 3 this morning I woke drenched in sweat again. I’m not normally a sweaty person but both times it lasted about 40 minutes. I’m wondering if this could be an early sign of my body getting ready for baby arriving, has anyone else experienced this?

I’m 36 weeks and had this last night too! I just could not get cool/ stop sweating… Went outside, sat in front of two fans, had ice water and cold compresses and just couldn’t cool down. Worked after a while, but again had a restless night cause I was just so hot!! Maybe it is our bodies getting ready for labour, but it was just super warm yesterday so could just be that- or a mix of both. Loving the cooler weather today tho! X

I’m 36+5, yesterday was lovely with us as it was our coolest day in over over a week, so I was fine except these 2 episodes of sweating. I’m getting my hair done on Thursday, I keep saying if she stays in until after then I’m happy enough for her to come anytime.

Yeah I woke up and I never sleep without anything on but I was literally naked on the verge of crying bcos of how hot I was, couldn’t cool down for the life of me. All my windows were open, sat with my hands in a bowl of ice, tried everything. Was horrific, but I live on the 3rd floor of a flat building. I won’t be able to cope if it happens again tonight

I was exactly the same. I asked the consultant about it today because my hands and feet are so swollen but she said it is because of the heat. Nothing to worry about x
