I’d see a lactation consultant sooner if I had breastfeeding issues. And I’d swaddle my baby more in the early days.

I'd Use the love2dream swaddle instead of the wrap around ones as my first wasn't overly keen on those. I'd also use cold water Steriliser as the electric ones build up lime scale constantly x

Get up and out everyday even if it was for a 10 min walk. Battle those baby blues 😬

I hired a doula for the second and it made such a difference in how supported and cared for I felt during labor.

Put myself and my baby first, ahead of everyone and everything regardless of who you upset!!!

I would definitely see a lactation consultant sooner, also have less visitors in those first few weeks .

Trust myself - rather than seek reassurance!

Push for a lactation consultant, accept help from family and look after my mental health better.

Not listen to everyone’s advice. Especially family who raised kids 30 years ago
