When to take ovulation tests

Hi everyone, I’m new to this group and only just at the beginning of our TTC journey. We are very lucky that we have our beautiful daughter who is now 15 months old, and we would like to start trying again for our next baby.
As I am still breastfeeding, I haven’t actually had a period since before I got pregnant with my daughter (September 2021). So I want to start taking ovulation tests every day to see if even though I haven’t had my period back, whether I am still ovulating or not? (No idea how it really works so please comment if this is not possible)

Anyway - when is the best time of the day to take ovulation tests? Do I just take 1 a day or multiple? They are just little strip tests that I got off of amazon.
Thank you!

Also I have seen people have an app where they upload pictures of their ovulation tests and it tracks how dark the line is for them - does anyone know what this app is called?

Hi, it says to take 2 tests a day, not the first urine of the day. Between 10am and 8pm. (One morning, one evening). And not to overly drink before testing so there is some concentration in the urine -but the strips should come with these instructions. The app is called Premom 😊 I'm at the very start of ttc for baby #2 as well.

Premom app. I would test once a day until I saw a change in the darkness of the line or until I knew I was getting close to ovulation, just to save money.
