How do you cope after your one and only embryo failed 😠and bled from 13dpo3dt but still doesn’t feel like a period as it’s too light..
How do you then go be round pregnant people and babies and not want to gorge their eyes out how they have it so easy?

I know it’s so hard at first my first fresh failed and it is utterly devastating then found out my sil was pregnant it was hard to take in but it gets better with time just take time to yourself do things that make you happy and hopefully go again. I’m so sorry thinking of you xx

My first cycle I got 2 embryos, they weren’t great quality, were transferred day 3, but didn’t take.
I remember being really gutted as I totally thought ivf was going to be our answer, I thought I would get loads of eggs / embryos and it would work first or second time. So it was hard when it didn’t go that way. It was also our nhs go so we then had to pay.
I took a break from TTC, changed jobs and planned our wedding. We then went private where I got better results with 5 embryos. First ended in a missed miscarriage. And my second is now my 8 week old.
It has been really hard with pregnancy announcements. My SIL had 3 babies in the time it took us to get 1. My other SIL had 2 accidents too. I even knew people who never wanted children getting accidentally pregnant in their 40’s,
Take some time and know your emotions are valid. Have a good cry. Avoid things if they are triggering.

We had also prepared for what our life would be like without children, and tried to focus on positives of being child free - freedom, travel, extra money etc.
there was a part of me that would always be gutted if we didn’t have children but I was also at peace with that option.
Thank you both for replying. Me and my partner have had a good cry together. We do have our wedding to look forward too next year. I don’t want the look of sympathy of anything from family which I know we will get. Think today is going to be a long day. Xx

As soon as ours failed we booked our wedding for may next year too, something to look forward too a day of happiness. you will be okay lovely just hard at first xxx
Yeah it’s hard I think because at present moment we ain’t in a position to go private either it’s hit like a brick wall. Xx

Take a look at Gaia funding. We used access fertility but you do pay for everything up front. Gaia is a payment plan I believe once you’ve had a baby. And it’s more instalments than one lump sum.
Or look at a 5yr bank loan and access fertility. Once the time is right to go again.
We paid around £14500 including consultation, re doing our blood tests and 3 cycles including icsi and unlimited frozen transfers with a 50% refund. Just to give an idea of costs.
Thank you. Yeah we will take a break until possible early next year then maybe go again, I’ll defo look into what you have said. Thank you xx
