HELP Since the heat not drinking much
My little one is 4months now and he was doing really well drinking milk, he was drinking 5-6oz every 3hours, during the heat wave we had he started to drink less I mean way less maybe 1-2oz here and there, anyways it’s started to cool down now and he’s still drinking way less than what he use to, he’s now drinking 3oz here and there, is it because he’s teething or is he still hot, is he coming down with something I don’t know, he is having wet nappies though. ANY ADVISE PLEASE I’m panicking now

It’s really scary as my little girl’s Ben doing the same thing but it’s completely normal. We don’t like eating lots as adults when it’s hot and babies are exactly the same, just have to keep offering as much as you can and hope that he takes more. It’s not as sunny but still pretty hot, at least where I am. Humid anyway, I’d give it a couple of days and just try and offer more x
oh no I hope she’s doing better now, yeah to be honest I didn’t mind when it was hot but it has cooled down abit now and it’s not as hot but he’s still refusing his milk, I spoke to my mum who advised sometimes they don’t have the appetite and it’s a stage he’ll grow out of but I can’t watch him drink 3oz each time lol x
It’s hard isn’t it, we’re so programmed into making sure they’re eating the same amount each day but when we think about it, we have off days too. Hopefully your little one’s appetite picks back up! X
