Baby bumped head and being sick

I don't think headbutting a phone would do any damage, is he otherwise ok?

Just to try and ease your mind - My girl has head butted my phone so many times, she’s just crawled head first into the door frame and has a pink mark on her head but she’s fine. When she was about 6/7 months, she swung her head and gave herself a massive thump on the cot bars 😭 I agree with Alex, I don’t think a phone would do a lot of damage, but because of the projectile vomiting I’d call 111 for your peace of mind. I called after the cot incident and the questions they asked were about vomiting, if she knocked herself unconscious, are her eyes dilating when a light is shined in them, is she behaving like normal and is she leaking fluid from ears/nose. I’m sure he’s absolutely fine, these babies are a lot more durable than we give them credit for! X

Always ring 111 if you're worried. Is he sleepy/grumpy? The fact a bump gas vome up is a good thing. If just ting 111 to put your mind at rest xx

A head injury and then vomiting should also be investigated.
Normally I’d say head butting a phone can’t have been that bad, but it was bad enough to leave a bump.
Head injury bad enough to leave a mark plus vomiting that isn’t normal, I’d phone 111.

I'm a first time mom if I've learn anything from this app and friends family it's better to be safe and get your baby checked if your gut is telling you to take him take him. I'm a over thinker as well so getting her checked put my mind to ease to just figure out what was wrong and how to take care of her.

Vomiting can be a sign of concussion- i wouldn’t think you could get a concussion from head butting a phone, but you should go get him looked at by a doctor just in case.

Defo keep him close and keep an eye on him hun.

Sounds like you might need to change his formula a baby should never be sick after eating. Goat milk formula would be amazing it’s closest to breast milk. When he’s over a year oat milk is a great sub. But if baby is drinking Simalic That needs to stop asap it’s killing babies. My son bumps his head at least 3 times a day and has never vomited afterwards. So idk I hope he feels better soon he’s beautiful

Head injury + vomiting needs to be assessed in urgent care/a&e to be on the safe side

we don’t use that brand of milk in the uk. Ours is heavily regulated more than the US.
