had a second degree tear, and I’m on day 6 pp and every time I cough or sneeze or pee or legit anything especially poop lol, everything stings and burns down there and I’m also super itchy. How long does it take to heal??

I think it can take up to two weeks to begin the initial process of healing to where it doesn’t sting/burn but my sister had the same and wasn’t cleared until she was 9 wks pp. I didn’t tear I just had a scratch and after a week I felt back to normal. I think it all depends on your body and how much you are resting. take it easy. Only lift baby so your body can heal.
I also had a second degree tear... I am 1 week pp and it just stopped stinging. I am also very very itchy down there but everyday is different! Some days I'm really sore and bleeding others I feel completely normal
Make sure you’re keeping everything as clean as possible. Peri bottle and witch hazel worked for me. It took me about 3 weeks to be fully healed and brave enough to check with a mirror. It had all gone back to normal by that time.
