4 month old coughing
My baby gets slight reflux been like this from around a month old it doesn’t upset her anymore as it’s not bad. She’s been getting this cough since she was 3 months she gets it when she gets excited, laying down, or just does it randomly I’ve taken her gp few times about it they’ve checked her chest throat ears back and said she’s absolutely fine .
It’s stressing me out because why has she got it she’s a happy baby it hasn’t changed her personality she’s not lethargic she’s her normal self but what can cause this ? Has anyone else had anything similar ?

Ye it’s so weird because sometimes she smiles while doing it I’m like are you ok ? 😂 but they said she’s fine I’m hoping it’s a phase if not I’m taking her back again
yeh and I didn’t even realise it was you - 5am antics 😂😂😂😂 scrolling through peanut while I’m half asleep 🙄. Mila is exactly the same, she coughs but then isn’t distressed by it - she’s been doing it for a while too! I thought it’s probably her reflux or just something they do as they are developing x

Maybe it could be a developing thing they said to me she’s healthy I said ok so is it just a thing she does they go ye but this was 3 weeks ago lol
Hopefully it stops I’m glad she’s not alone 😂

Mine is the same I did a bit of research and it’s totally normal! It’s like a fake cough often for attention or just being a little cheeky😂
how do we know if it’s real or not these babies are too cheeky 😂 x actors lol
My LO has started doing this this past week. I think I’m kind of to blame tho cos I often cough back at her and make a funny face, so now she thinks it’s hilarious to cough and starts grinning when she does it. Just glad we didn’t have her during peak covid or she’d have been out there freaking folk out by coughing and laughing at them!!
I’ve just been checking on mines temperature If she does it a lot and as long as that’s fine and she’s eating and doing nappies as she should then I know it’s not real aha 😂often if it’s a real cough it makes her eyes water or she goes a little red in the face
😂 honestly these babies are too advanced for my liking lol playing games already lol
Ye same she sometimes coughs when she gets too excited after screaming (happy screaming ) or if her saliva goes down the wrong way
Other than that it’s like an attention cough and people look at me asking if she’s ok I just say yup she’s acting :) lol
