So sorry to hear that.
I was told by my HR team on THE day that my daughter was born that they are making 2/3rd of my function redundant. As it affected a lot of people there was a lengthy consultation process and I realised that there isn't much protection in the UK for pregnant or mat leave mums 😕
Maternity action have a free legal advice line that is very helpful! Will they keep paying enhanced mat leave?

Don't sign any redancy agreement before you got some legal advice. Once it's done its done. One laywer told me its almost always worth challenging redundancy during mat leave. It is a bit tricker as your entire team is going and you haven't been singled out but are there any job adverts currently that fir your skills? If so they would have to offer to you (and technically they have to made an effort to find and alternative role within the company for you)

So sorry to hear this, I was told 2 weeks after borth that I may face redundancy as my branch was being closed. Luckily, an alternative store was found for me. If your whole team is being made redundant, then you have lottle to no chance of claiming discrimination due to Maternity Leave. Good luck for your next steps

Also being made redundant while on maternity, company has gone into administration, been there over 16 years so will get redundancy, husband also works there too so being made redundant 🤦 x
