Confused with Fertility Friend App

Hello everyone! I use the fertility friend app and usually really love it! As of yesterday I was 6DPO based on cervical mucus and BBT. I never found my peak this month. However, I woke up this morning and based on my BBT it totally changed my ovulation day to like 4-5 days later giving us no chance to conceive this month. It’s never don’t this before and I’m confused and upset. Any insight?

BBT can fluctuate anyway so shouldn’t be your only reference - are you also using ovulation tests?

@Wanyu yes I am

@Willa from experience I’d say the best way is to baby dance every other day from about CD 9-10 (depending on your cycle length ofc) until your tests turn negative & BBT goes up just to be sure. If this is too much dancing, you can try Clearblue digital tests which can actually tell you 2 days before ovulation happens while normal tests would only tell about 1 day before. I wouldn’t trust too much any app as it’s just based on some pre-set algorithms which do not really factor in individual bodies. From the chat you posted, it’s very likely that your ovulation happened on D14 so the highest chance to conceive would be D12-14. If you BD during that period there is good chance this month :) but again every body is different and it took me about 3-6 months observations to really know what low v high temps are for me.

Thank you. I logged my temp this morning and it changed back to where it was before. 🤦🏼‍♀️ very confusing but oh well this makes me feel better about our chances this month.
