Newborn vs 0-1 Month

It’s bigger than newborn but smaller than 0-3.I wouldn’t bother with 0-1.Just get newborn and 0-3 etc

0-3 will most probably be big but they will also grow out of newborn within 2/3 weeks. So don’t get much but get newborn. And the rest 0-3. My daughter just turned 2m and she’s already in 3-6m she only wore 0-3 for about 1 week 🙃

Newborn is smaller than 0-1 but 0-1 is smaller than 0-3.
My son was 8lb 14oz and long and didn’t fit in newborn and went straight into 0-1. 0-3 were way too big for a few weeks

I would just get a few newborn bits and then rest 0-3 month.

same ! I won’t bother with newborn next time.I’ll just get 0-3 to start off with as my boy only wore newborn for a few days.Was in 3-6 by 6 weeks

I agree with Tia. And I put all the smallest sizes first with the next size behind them and then from there I put the bigger. Bigger ones in another chest. (I was given lots of second hand from two sisters and a cousin)

Thanks everyone! I’ll make sure I have a few bits of each but def not go overboard with newborn especially as I think I’m having a big baby!

I would say only have 2/3 outfits of newborn. My daughter was born @37w weighing only 2.8kg so a small baby and she was wearing 0-1m.

The comments baffle me both my kids were in newborn until 3 months old and my second kid I had to get her premature clothes and she was only 3 days early 😂

oh really? How much did they weigh when born?

my son was 7lbs 6oz and quite chubby and short and my daughter was 7lbs 1 and so skinny but really long

oh dear i thought newborn, 0-1 & 0-3 were all suitable for newborns before reading the comments. time to do another reorganise 😂

All my newborn clothes were a waste. My 8lb baby went straight into 0-3 month clothes. Even if she wore newborn once I still regret them. They grow so fast.

Depends on the shop… 0-1m for H&M is newborn as that’s the smallest they do I’m sure

If it helps, I’ve you’ve had measurements and growth scans at all, you can get a rough idea of what baby’s birth weight may be by following up the grow chart, obviously there’s a lot of variables like early labour etc but it could give a rough idea of birth weight and what size clothes baby will be in

same girl!! My little man will be 3 months in a could days and can still get into some newborn outfits! He wore preemies too. Was considered early term but still had to be in the preemies!

I have a handful of newborn things in case he comes early or is smaller and about the same amount of things 0-1 and 0-3 xxx
