If you’re no longer eligible for 30 hours it will drop to 15. Both parents need to be working to qualify for 30 x
@Chizzy then yes I think it will stop, but will be lowered to 15 hours instead, both parents need to be working more then 16 hours a week I think it is ( as I still didn’t qualify when I was working 12 hours a week and my partner more then 40 so we had to pay the extra x

They don’t stop getting the free hours if you’re on maternity leave. There’s an option to pick on maternity leave. I was on Mat leave with my 2nd when my eldest started her free hours
As in they will still receive the 30 x

Just reading other comments idk if I read your post wrong , if you’re maternity leave Is finishing in November, they’ll stop once you’ve stopped working ( you’ll have to look into if it’ll stop at the end of term or what ) If your maternity leave starts in November and you’re not quitting until the end of your leave, you’ll continue to get 30 hours for your leave and then whenever you actually quit work that’s when it’ll drop to 15! But yes I would talk to nursery anyway so they are in the loop and just incase you need to do anything to swap :-) x

Ah in that case there’s a grace period so they’ll still get them either to Christmas or the end of March depending on how the eligibility period falls, they always go to the end of a term but once you tell the nursery they should let you know
