Snow suits

Advice please mums! At what temperature outside do you start using snow suit/all in one coat for baby in pram? And what do you dress them in underneath? Thanks

A normal outfit underneath, like vest, jumper and bottoms with socks. I’d say around 13 degrees or lower.

If you'd wear a coat they need a coat is what I was told and a normal outfit and vest underneath you can always strip them if they get too hot. I was told babies need one more later than us so it you're in a coat jeans and a top they need a vest trousers top and a snowsuit

My baby seems to boil up in her pram, I worry she’ll overheat sometimes even when its been cooler

We’ve started using ours with him in a vest, long sleeve top and trousers but he feels the cold and has just had a chest infection so don’t want to risk the cold air getting to him again

We had a thinner one we used in place of a cardigan then went onto thick snowsuit in around November. Always took blankets aswell just incase

I’m not a massive fan of pram suits so we use a cosy toes on the pushchair baby will be dressed in vest, socks outfit and a thicker cardi then in the cosy toes if its extra cold I’d pop an extra blanket underneath and pull the rain cover over xx

I have the same worry. We have a cosy toes on the pram and he gets sweaty just in that with a babygrow on😂

I would say a vest and the normal outfit underneath and I would put bub in it if I need a big coat on
