Has anyone experienced a baby spitting uo a lot of clear fluid? The past 2 days my 9 week old has been bringing up a lot of clear fluid, im used to the milk spit up but it just seems to be clear with the occasional milk in it. He is drinking as normal and seems happy in himself. But he will bring some up after a feed, after a nap, and during nappy changes when laying flat. He does seem to have a lot of saliva and bubble's recently. Me and my partner have a cold and babs have been sneezing a bit so could it just be a cold symptom?

Same. And dribbles loads during tummy time 😅 it's all normal. Their stomachs are maturing and with my boy he is also teething so makes it worse

Usually clear spit up is reflux, so it's actually acidic stuff from baby's tummy. Keep an eye on him if he doesn't seem uncomfy it should ve fine but if u start noticing he's uncomfy see a gp for some gaviscon to add to his feeds xx

My baby is 9 weeks old and she is also doing the same, she currently has bronchiolitis and the doctor has said she has a little bit of reflux but nothing that is a cause for concern she doesn’t seem uncomfortable with it thankfully x

Same here just started and he's 9 weeks on Sunday. It doesn't seem to bother him thankfully!

If you’re breastfeeding it could be that the milk is more watery hence the watery spit up. But also could he reflux, especially if it has a sour smell to it. My LO is 10 weeks old has watery spit up sometimes too

My little boy used to spit up clear all the time and then just stopped. Xx
