Just had my first chemical pregnancy 😭

Really need some advice as I’d like to get back trying asap. For anyone who has had one before, how quickly did you ovulate again? Do you count the first day of post-miscarriage bleeding as CD1? I read online that the bleeding is not considered a regular period..

Hello. I’m sorry to hear that you are going through a chemical pregnancy. I have recently gone through this too and I counted the first day of bleeding as CD1. To give you context, my CD1 was the 28th of June and I then ovulated on the 15th of August but it can be between 4-6 weeks after your miscarriage.

Thank you. Did you use LH strips or how did you know when you next ovulated?

I tracked my symptoms (clear cervical mucus, temp, etc).

I counted it as CD1 and then got pregnant again that cycle - currently 8 weeks 🤞🏼 I used LH tests and I ovulated about a week or so later than usual. Good luck 🍀💕

So sorry for your loss. I went through this last August (2022). I ovulated two weeks after I started spotting and my tests started to fade (my bleeding came about three days after spotting and tests fading) - and fell pregnant again that cycle. Baby is now 4 months old ❤️ What I would say is just start doing your ovulation tests again as usual to catch that estrogen and LH rise. That’s correct, it’s not technically a period as it’s an early miscarriage, but as it’s early, you tend to ovulate around the same time as you would if it was a period. Sending love to you - I know how hard this all feels x

So sorry about your loss. I counted first day of bleeding for miscarriage as the first day and I ovulated bang on when Flo app said I would (strange, because I have irregular cycles!) Bleeding was pretty light and lasted 4 days just like my period even though I was 6w when I miscarried and I got pregnant again straight away, currently 7+5 xx

I experienced this and ovulated two days later than usual. My next cycle i ovulated only my usual day. Usually after CP your body doesn’t take long to get your cycle back on track. You might find your next periods to be more painful so heads up.If it does help a lot of women get pregnant very soon after a CP the first 6 months usually so don’t lose hope 💖
