Cot troubles

Hey has anyone got any advice. My little girl is 8 months ... I've been trying to introduce her to the cot in her bedroom but all she does is uses the bars to stand herself up... then will fall and bang her face on them. Obviously I will stand with her and try catch her to prevent this happening !!! I just don't feel comfortable having her in her own room when she keeps pulling herself up then falling and hurting herself. How do I prevent this?! Xxx

Don’t have her in her own room until she is used of the cot

I don’t really think there is anything you can do to prevent her standing up in there, other than not putting her in until she can stand reasonably steadily. We have this with our LG, thought thankfully she hasn’t fallen and hit her head, more by good luck than good management though 🙈 x
