What exactly does a Haakaa do? Can I use it in my pregnancy to collect my colostrom?

oh wow that sounds so good! Thank you so much for explaining that to me. Do you know if the haakaa fits all size boobs? (Im a C) And can it stay on the boob through the night while I sleep? Does it fit inside the bra to stay put? Sorry so many questions 😅 also is it best to buy with the lid or without? How big is the haakaa? How much does it collect? X

Technically it is a pump and it does more than collect let down, the suction pulls out more milk than would naturally let down by itself. But it's not very powerful and won't be enough for colostrum

Also it won't stay on while you sleep, in my experience it barely stays on while I feed

Haaka also makes a colostrum collection vial kit that is awesome for collecting colostrum but you do have to hand express the drops out. I did get the pump for when I start breastfeeding though
