Never home (vent)

My boyfriend has not spent one day with me at home that I can recall since I’ve been pregnant & even before that. We live with my mom right now so I understand that he doesn’t want to sit in my moms house all day but it worries me since we have a baby on the way that I’ll be stuck in the house with my baby while he’s out with his friends or “making money”. He asked me a few days ago how many days do I expect him to stay with me to help after I have the baby & I told him 5. He’s response was “5 days?!?”. Like yes 5 days! You can’t take 5 days of your newborn sons life to bond with him? Not saying I think he’ll be a deadbeat or anything but I’m gonna need help since I’ll be healing. I don’t want to depend on my mom bc I didn’t make this baby with her. I know I’ll have her support 100% but I already know if she sees that he’s leaving me with the baby & not letting me get time to do homework or just have me time, my mom is gonna say something if I don’t beat her to it. I just want to avoid unnecessary bs. Hopefully he’ll want to stay home with his son to bond with him & not just leave me with him all the time.
