Clothes ... I've only bought 2 things I feel bad but I have been bought and given so much that I'm going to save the clothes buying until she's needs it.

Too much! I have been going to primark and buying a few stuff but I've also been getting a few bits off Facebook. I git one the other day cost 30 pounds for 2 bags and 1 thing in there was 20 pound. Amazing bargain

@Lorna don't feel bad! This is me too. Been given lots of clothes and bought a couple of new outfits. Babies grow so quickly you find they won't wear everything you have. I've also bought a couple of bundles 2nd hand.

We’re having a surprise so I’ve tried to keep to a minimum until baby is here. I’ve got x7 new born & x 1 month baby grows and vests so basically enough for the first week 😂X1 sleeping bag, x1 pram suit - that’s about it tbh. Will get some more bits when baby arrives and we know how big he / she is x

I haven't bought all that much - just sleepsuits / vests and some essential items of clothing. Mainly from Tesco and George at Asda. I've bought the odd cute little outfit too, all in the sales - H&M do some nice bits.
Family have bought him some clothing and we have a family member who had a baby last November, so she's packing us up with his bits and bobs.
I've got a couple of bits 2nd hand off ebay, and have looked at getting other 2nd hand bundles from Facebook Market Place and ebay etc. I just don't want to get too much that he won't end up wearing.
Friends have said not to spend too much on clothing as they grow out of it so quickly, but a few special bits might be nice for certain occasions - like Christmas 🎄

Only newborn clothes because I had a baby shower and everyone bought 0/3 3/6 6/9 clothes and no newborn clothes

I didn’t buy too much, just enough that I know we still have outfits when some are being washed. I don’t plan on buying any more than necessary as they grow out of stuff so quickly and you end up with brand new clothes that didn’t get a chance to be worn. If you need anything, you can always go and get more.
