Rotavirus vaccine

My friend has a baby a few weeks older than mine, and she has just had her vaccinations last week. One of the vaccinations, the rotavirus one, is apparently a “live vaccine” so my friend was advised to stay away from people with a compromised immune system, the elderly etc but no mention of unvaccinated newborns. Is it safe for her to come over and visit me and my baby with her baby?

When in doubt, dont risk it xx

It is safe, the advice is regarding their poo, so immunosuppressed people shouldn't have anything to do with their nappies so to be safe you shouldn't do their nappy either :) xx
